IdroFlow — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Your privacy is a top priority for IdroFlow. This Privacy Policy explains how IdroFlow handles your data. By using the app, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. No personal data collection
IdroFlow is designed to work without any account creation or registration. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information (such as name, email, or phone number) to our servers.
2. Local data storage
All your hydration logs, daily goals, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to this data.
- If you enable iCloud Sync in the app settings, your hydration data is stored in your private iCloud container (CloudKit). This data is accessible only by you and is never shared with us or any third party.
- If you back up your device to iCloud, your data may be included in that backup according to your iCloud settings.
- If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed from your device.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit) integration
IdroFlow offers optional integration with Apple Health (HealthKit) to sync your water intake data.
- Data usage: if you grant permission, IdroFlow writes your water intake to the Health app and reads your hydration history to provide a unified overview.
- Privacy: we do not use HealthKit data for marketing, advertising, or use-based data mining. Your HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.
- User control: you can enable or disable this integration at any time in the app settings or in iOS System Settings (Privacy & Security → Health).
4. In-app purchases (Apple StoreKit)
Purchases for "IdroFlow Plus" are processed through Apple's StoreKit. Entitlements are verified on your device using StoreKit 2 — IdroFlow does not use any third-party subscription platform, and no external service receives your purchase data.
- IdroFlow does not collect your credit card information or billing details; these are handled securely by Apple according to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- No health or hydration data is ever associated with a purchase.
5. Anonymous analytics (TelemetryDeck)
IdroFlow uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the app is used and improve its features.
- TelemetryDeck does not collect personally identifiable information. Signals are cryptographically hashed before transmission.
- The data collected includes information such as features used, app version, and device type. No hydration data, health data, or personal information is ever sent.
- For more information, see TelemetryDeck's privacy approach.
6. Children's privacy
IdroFlow does not collect any personal data. The anonymous analytics described in Section 5 is non-identifiable and does not constitute personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
